As a tenant, you can request the following from us (landlord) per rented object: 'Cycling on Texel Certainties' – package close. The costs for this are 10% of the total rental price, excluding any deposit. You can easily close this package when reserving your bike(s). If the tenant has closed the 'Cycling on Texel Guarantees' – Package with the landlord, the tenant is insured for the object in question for:
(At least 24 hours before the start of the rental period.) If the person for whom the object was rented has become ill prior to the rental period and will not use the rented object due to this illness; In addition to and in deviation from the cancellation fee scale from the BOVAG/SER rental conditions, no cancellation fee compensation is due in the event of cancellation at least 24 hours before the start of the rental period if the person for whom the object was rented is ill prior to the rental period and will not use the rented object due to this illness.
The deductible is never charged for damage to the rented item, unless the damage is caused by damage or loss (also known as theft or loss) outside the island of Texel. The rented item may not leave the island of Texel in accordance with the Fietsen op Texel General rental conditions. Losses that occurred outside the island of Texel are therefore not covered by the Fietsen op Texel guarantees.
