Can I rent a bicycle in De Koog on Texel?

Certainly! Bicycles can be rented at our main branch Fietsen op Texel and Van der Linde De Koog. These are located on the Nikadel in De Koog, next to the gas station and opposite the Jumbo.

Can I rent a bicycle from the boat on Texel?

For larger groups of adventurers who want to explore Texel, we also offer the service of delivering the bicycles to the ferry. Please feel free to contact us to discuss group delivery options!

Can I rent a bicycle with a dog cart?

Yes! We have a dog trailer and dog basket available for rental. The dog trailer cannot be separated from the bicycle and can only be used in combination with a rental bicycle. It is important that your dog is used to riding in a cart or basket. If your four-legged friend doesn't like it that much—maybe he suffers from a bit of 'cycling phobia' or he is just more of a walk type. Our golden tip: first rent the bike for two days and if all goes well, you can always extend it for more cycling fun together!

Can I rent a bicycle with a child seat?

Yes! At Van der Linde Fietsen we offer both a front and rear child seat. These child seats are only possible in combination with a 7-speed women's bicycle or with a standard electric bicycle.

How much does it cost to rent a bicycle on Texel?

The costs for renting a bicycle can vary depending on the type of bicycle and the duration of the rental period. To give you an idea of the prices, we use the following rates: Electric bicycle from €47.50 per day City bike from €23.50 per day Mountain bike from €23.50 per day

How long is a rental day?

A regular rental day runs from 08:30 to 18:00. Please note: in certain periods of the year these are changed, see the opening hours.
